Congratulations to our medalists and hello to new recruits!

First of all, like all Judo websites in Great Britain I'll say a quick well done to Gemma Gibbons and Karina Bryant on the medals won. Especially pleased for Karina who secured her first medal after multiple Olympic attendances.

I am involved with the Yorkshire and Humberside area of the BJA and look after the yhjudo.org.uk website for the area. We've seen a significant increase in traffic since the Olympic Judo successes, I think it's safe to say that clubs in the area should be getting some extra contact from new people soon.

Hopefully some of those people will stick at the sport and get as much from Judo as I have.
