Online entries
Following on from a discussion on the BJA forums I have tried again to persuade the more...established...members of the area committee that online entry is the way forwards for our events, again the idea is resisted by the old guard.
Of course in the thread above the person complaining hasn't discovered that in fact most entry forms are available for download on the area website and they didn't respond to my request for more info in order to help them. You can lead a horse to water...
Putting aside the silliness of people not accepting help when offered, can anyone help suggest how to explain the benefits of an online entry system for the Yorkshire and Humberside area?!!
It doesn't help the old guard for the most part aren't regular computer users, in fact our main competition controller has only just aquired a computer - and that was reluctantly! :(
Waiting to get them set up with an internet connection now.
Frustrating. All I want to do is make things easier for Judoka in our area.
